The Threat Of Emerging Contaminants
You can’t watch or read the news today without coming across a report about the presence of new contaminants in drinking water that we were previously unaware of. Some of the most common but invisible contaminants include pesticides, herbicides, prescription drugs and detergents. Most of these regular contaminants have fallen under two categories based on what it affects – health or taste.
