Last week, QNET took part in the much celebrated 52nd Edition Cameroon National Youth Day 2018. The fun-filled, eye-opening eleven-day celebration drew more than 5,000 attendees from various parts of Cameroon. Consisting mostly of the young generation, they enthusiastically took part in the national parade, stage activities, workshops and exciting programs.
The Cameroon National Youth Day is an annual event organised by the Minister of Youth Affairs and Civic Education Cameroon (MINJEC) with the aim to promote youth awareness and recognition in the country. As one of the key sponsors of the event, QNET’s booth was set up at the Musée National Yaounde with a wide array of high-quality products being showcased to educate members of the public about the concept of Absolute Living. QNET’s Independent Representatives excitedly took part in the event. They were keen to explain the advantages of joining QNET and the entrepreneurship opportunities being offered to members of the public.
QNET’s booth was visited by many individuals who were keen to learn more about the company. Officials from the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Civic Education also stopped by the view the selection of wellness and lifestyle products on display.
One of the event’s highlights was the dinner reception organised by MINJEC to raise funds and award young talents. The dinner was attended by many distinguished guests which include: The Minister of Culture, Professor Narcisse Moulee Kombi, Minister of Youth Affairs and Civic Education, Mounouna Foutous, Minister of Communications, Issa Tchiroma Bakari, Minister of Higher Education, Professor Jacques Fame Ndongo, and Minister of Basic Education, Youssouf Hadidja Alim. In addition, Ambassador Roger Milla also graced the event. During the award presentation ceremony, QNET handed out trophies and certificates to ten winners who proved their abilities in the Business Challenge Award.
QNET Head of Operation for Africa, Arti Asawa was proud to receive the Certificate of Youth Corporate Citizen 2018 and the Certificate of Participation from the Representative of the founder of the IAI-CAMEROON, the Honourable Armand Claude Abanda.
