A ROYAL RETREAT AT COTTON CASTLE
In the land of the Crescent Moon, you can take a dip in the pristine pools of Pamukkale, Turkey. The surreal pools are filled with glass blue water making it such an exciting offer by the QVI Club and your golden ticket to cross your bucket list off visiting this place.
One can even float down these awe-inspiring immaculate white terrace of Turkey’s steep valley. This geographical location is a picturesque sight of dreamlike clear pools warmed by its mighty waterfall.
From afar these white terraces are perceived to look like a cotton castle which is actually the literal translation of Pamukkale in the local tongue of the area. These cotton castle pools are made up of mostly limestone which carries an abundant amount of health-boosting minerals in them. Taking a dip in these warm waters is both relaxing and overall good for skin health as a result of the popular trend that a lot of visitors do while coming here, covering themselves in the mud of these pools.
The absolute best thing about Pamukkale is the isolated location having minimal interference from man-made additions. With this, visitors are required to carry their own bathing gear while also being cautious as limestone rocks can be slippery making it recommended not to wear shoes.
These limestone pools aren’t the only tourist destination Pamukkale has to offer, while if you want to fulfil your adventure side, Hierapolis is well worth the visit. Once long ago a large city, Hierapolis now lies in ruins though still holds its glorious stone structure, especially with its restored amphitheatre.
Having nature’s hidden spa treatment, Pamukkale does not disappoint leaving you speechless every time with new memories. Use this World Tourism Day as an excuse to visit Pamukkale and bathe in its wonders.

LET IT SNOW
If you like adventure, the braving slopes in the Garhwal Himalayas is definitely the place any adrenaline junkie should experience. The Garhwal Himalayas has several mountain ranges with an assortment of peaks that offer breathtaking views and smooth ski slopes. Being surrounded by a plethora of mountains, its essence puts it in perspective of how small we are compared to these giants.
When checking in to Cliff Top Club, Auli, you can experience a beautiful and luxurious resort. Standing at more than 10,000 feet above sea level, knowing you’re at the top of the world can give you to an experience like none other.
Taking a short drive away from the resort, Auli Snow Skiing once was used for military training and is now a snow heaven for skiing lovers. Though practising for a couple of hours does make perfect, no matter how many times you go up and down the mountain, nothing can ever prepare you for the feeling that overtakes you while you race down the snow. TRIANGLES IN THE SAND
Land of the Sun Kissed mornings, sandy days and chilly nights… The power of the desert is gifted by the gentle breeze of the Nile and makes Giza a land where time stands still. Home to some of the oldest wonders of the ancient world, Egypt’s ancient royal city Giza is located a mere 13 km from Cairo, where the kings of the yesteryear still reign.
The 4,500-year-old pyramids today is still absolutely awe-inspiring and intimidating. Seeing these ancient structures is a life-changing experience for anyone wanting to have a taste of what life was like in the days of the Pharaohs.
You can start your exploration with a visit to the Great Pyramid of Giza – the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in Egypt. Immerse yourself at the eclectic interiors of this old structure, preserved to perfection to house the spirit of the legendary Pharaoh Khufu, with his corpse and otherworldly items he would need to perform his duties as king of the dead in the afterlife. One can also head toward the Pyramid of Khafre – the second largest pyramid built by the son of Khufu, the Pyramid of Menkaure and lastly the magnificent statue of the Great Sphinx – the enigmatic monument made of limestone that depicts the body of a lion with Pharaoh Khafre’s head.
Whether you’re fond of ancient Egypt, curious about the pyramids, or just thirsty for adventure, Giza awaits you with legends, history, mystery, and a friendly ahlan wa sahlan.
What’s next? Grab a cab, horse or even a camel, grab some qasab (sugarcane juice) and begin an adventure to the heart of the ancient world. If you’re looking for an excuse to go on this adventure, remember, today is World Tourism Day.
