The awards ceremony was a festive event meant to honour the biggest stars of Pyramids Football Club, a well-known football club in Egypt. It is hosted annually and pays homage to the best players from the team. As well as sponsoring the football awards ceremony, the winners also received stunning Bernhard H. Mayer® luxury watches.
The Winners Of The Pyramids FC Awards Ceremony
The award ceremony was a joyful event after an extremely difficult season which was full of delays and uncertainty due to the Covid-19 pandemic. To add to the pomp and atmosphere of the ceremony, Bernhard H. Mayer put up three of its best-selling watches as prizes for the winning footballers – the Nauticus, the Victor Chronograph, the Stallion, and the Chronos. Best Player Of The Season
Pyramids FC captain Abdullah Al-Saeed was honoured during the ceremony as the best player of the previous season. With a whopping 100 goals that season, the captain also received an award for being the top scorer in the entire Egyptian Premier League. Al-Saeed is well known in the international football circuit for being part of the Egyptian national team in the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Best Goal Of The Season
Fondly known as “Dudu El Gabas”, Mohamed El-Gabas received an award for the best goal of the season. The award in question was against his former team, and scored with a stunning double back kick that won the admiration of football fans worldwide. Dudu El Gabas is also well known in international football for being part of the Belgian Club Liers in 2009.
Best Young Player Of The Season
At only 19 years old, Ibrahim Adel won best young player as well as best young talent for the season. He is part of the youth football team and was praised by the team coach.
Most Improved Player Of The Season
Defender Mohamed Hamdy was awarded as the most improved player of the season. Thriving in the left-back position, his game was praised as truly deserving of this award.
